I was comissioned to create a double page illustration for a educational book in which should appear animals natural of the brazilian sea. The digital painting needed to honor the reality and transmit to the students how each animal looks like.

Created in exuberant and vibrant colors, the challeging composition must fit the text and give good readibility to it.

Fui contratado para criar uma ilustração de página dupla para um livro didático no qual deveriam aparecer animais naturais do mar brasileiro. A pintura digital precisava honrar a realidade e transmitir aos alunos como cada animal realmente é.

Criada em cores lindas e vibrantes, a composição desafiadora devia se adequar ao texto e dar boa legibilidade a ele.

In the mockup you see the illustration applied as a background for the educational text. In the text, there is the lyric of a beautiful song called "Animals of the sea" created by Chico Martins and Guy Marcovaldi.

Animals portraited are: sea turtle; shrimps; octopus; squids; hammerhead shark; viola ray; whales; capuchin fish; starfish; hedgehogs; corals; fish.

No mockup você vê a ilustração aplicada como fundo para um texto educacional, no livro didático. No texto, consta a letra da bela música chamada "Bichos do mar" criada por Chico Martins e Guy Marcovaldi.

Animals retratados são: tartaruga-marinha; camarões; polvo; lulas; tubarão-martelo; raia-viola; baleias; peixes-prego; estrelas-do-mar; ouriços; corais; peixes.
